Think Service is a Seoul-based practice that audits payroll compliance applications for employers who need an independent reading of wage-rule configuration.
Origin
Think Service began in Yeouido when HR leads kept asking the same question after vendor demos: the payroll application looked complete, but nobody independent had checked whether overtime premiums, leave accruals, and statutory deductions behaved correctly for Korean schedules. We formed a practice around that gap—application audits, not software sales.
Mission
We help employers see how their payroll application actually treats wages under the rules that govern their workforce, and we write findings clear enough for administrators, finance signatories, and vendor support desks to share.
Approach
Work stays concrete. We sit with configuration tables, sample payslips, and the people who maintain calendars. We prefer evidence from real pay periods over generic checklists. When a finding needs legal interpretation beyond application behaviour, we say so and point clients to counsel rather than stretching our scope.
People
Our reviewers combine payroll operations experience with close reading of Korean labour and withholding requirements as they appear inside common payroll applications. Engagements are led from Seoul, with on-site sessions available at our office at 108 Yeoui-daero, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul 07335 or at the client’s workplace when a live walk-through helps.
